Lately I have experienced many anti-social players who break long-held traditions/norms/rules of Halo. This has happened on multiple servers, but most recently on "Race Taxi", in which one person was able to ruin the games of many by repeatedly using "taxi" to enter, exit, and then sticky-nade his own teammates vehicles. This person made no effort to race despite repeated requests from his fellow players. (Sadly, most people don't seem to understand how to use /votelist and /votekick .) I would like to be able to address such issues.

I have a long history of administrative duties. I currently serve as operator on a number of IRC channels, and have run both large and small such channels in the past. I have run small open source projects, and even once ran Halo PC servers (albeit quite a few years ago). I have the necessary discipline to know the rules, advise/warn, and enforce them when applicable, but am not remotely prone to power abuse (in fact, I despise the abuse of power and am regularly accused of giving too much latitude to "trolls").

Without going into detail about specific behaviors, I really don't know what you're asking/demanding. I can only assume you searched server text logs and found me chastising players who were being problematic. Sadly, in Halo that often means using intense language. I don't find this remotely abusive--and it wouldn't need to happen at all if there were competent people in place to help the games run better. There are not.

I very much understand that, since you don't know me, you wouldn't have any way to know who I really am or what I'm about; this makes complete sense, and I really didn't expect you to hand over any authority. I simply wanted to be sure to offer my services in attempt to better things before I give up and stop playing on your servers altogether. To put bluntly: these days I don't have time to waste on terrible games with terrible people. That's the situation much of the time on your servers.

At the same time, the last thing I would want you to do is add a plethora of (inevitably abusive) ops. I have a lot of experience in this area, and I can tell you that the best ops are those with a very light touch--ops that meet people where they are and guide the norms in the right direction. Having said this: if you really feel I (or anyone applying) is "toxic", I would suggest never allowing such people any authority. In my experience: it won't end well.

As an unknown player, he hasn't been able to maintain or fill a server, especially the one he's currently playing on. He's a multi-account player because he's not even capable of playing with a single username. And his activity isn't sufficient for fair administration, where he could observe the true behavior of real players or the toxic multi-account players who only join to disrupt the game.
Another thing is that people on the server have asked if anyone knows him, and the real Race players don't know who he is. Even administrators have asked where he's from and who he is, and he hasn't answered.
I saw him log in only once, and several of us questioned him about who he was, what other usernames he used, and where he was from, because it was the first time we had seen him in Race.

And seen him chastise and talk down on other players regularly. Often spending the time to type criticisms and even though they are brief, they are often so they add up against his own laps lol
