The Spring Series 2 Treasure Hunt in Ito is the sort of Playlist task you can knock out before you have time to get properly settled into a race. The clue points towards the coast, and that is where a lot of players lose time. Ito has plenty of roads, beaches, and little bends that look promising on the map. You do not need to check all of them. If you are trying to build up your balance for upgrades, the hunt also gives you a useful reason to pick up some Forza Horizon 6 Credits while working through the seasonal activities. The chest is on the northeastern shoreline, close to the town of Ine and the thin sandy stretch at the edge of the map.
Finding the Right Part of Ito
Start by opening the map and fast travelling to the closest point you have unlocked in Ito. From there, aim for Ine rather than driving straight across the countryside. The town is a handy reference point, and using it keeps the route simple. Once you pass through the area, turn towards the northeast and stay on the rougher roads. You will gradually leave the more built-up section behind and reach the coastline.
Keep following the shore until the land narrows into a sandy peninsula. This is the important bit. The chest is not hidden deep in the town, and it is not sitting on one of the wider beaches nearer the main roads. It is tucked away near the far northeastern tip. A white-and-blue marker close to the beach helps confirm that you are in the right place. If you cannot see it, check your direction first. Players often continue along the coast when they have already gone slightly past the intended area.
A Quick Route Without the Guesswork
There is no need to bring a particular car or tune for this challenge. A normal road car will do the job, although something with decent ground clearance makes the dirt sections less annoying. Fast travel to Ito, drive towards Ine, and then follow the northeast roads. Do not worry about taking the perfect racing line. This is a short navigation job, not a timed event. You can cut across a rough patch when the road bends away from the coast, but watch for rocks and fences that can throw the car off course.
When you reach the beach, slow down and sweep the area near the marker. The Treasure Chest stands out once you are close enough. Drive into it to smash the chest and trigger the reward screen. If nothing happens, move a little further along the sand instead of restarting the activity. The shoreline can make the chest look farther away than it really is, especially when the camera is angled towards the water. Most players should be finished within a few minutes after leaving the fast-travel point.
What You Get for Completing the Hunt
The reward is a solid return for such a small task. Completing the Treasure Hunt gives you Festival Playlist progress, 5,000 XP, and 100,000 Credits. The Playlist Points matter most if you are aiming for one of the seasonal cars and are still short of the required total. The experience helps with regular level progression, while the Credits can go towards a new vehicle, an upgrade package, or a tune that you have been putting off.
It is worth collecting the chest even if your garage is already full of cars and your credit balance looks comfortable. Seasonal points are easier to appreciate when the week is nearly over and you are one activity away from a reward. Treasure Hunts are also less demanding than many race events. There is no difficult opponent field, no strict build requirement, and no long championship to finish. You simply need to reach the correct patch of coastline and break the chest.
Final Thoughts
The Ito Treasure Hunt is best treated as a quick stop on your Spring Series 2 checklist. Head towards Ine, keep travelling northeast, and follow the coast to the narrow beach at the edge of the map. Once the chest is broken, you can return to racing, tuning, or exploring without having spent much time on the search. Do not leave it until the last evening of the season, because the Playlist progress disappears when Spring ends. If you are short on funds for the next event, you can also buy Forza Horizon 6 Credits while keeping this easy 100,000-Credit reward for your next upgrade or car purchase.
